Sour Dough Waffles

1/2 cup warm water
1 T. sugar
2 1/4 t. yeast
Combine  and let foam in large bowl.

2 c. milk (warmed)
1/4 c. butter
1 t. salt
Stir this in to yeast mixture.

2 c. flour, beat into above and wrap bowl tightly and let sit  overnight on counter.

In morning:  preheat waffle iron

 Add 2 large eggs slightly beaten,
2 t. vanilla
1/4 t. baking soda

Add to batter and cook.
If you want to make more use a second bowl.
