Oven Stew

Cut up a roast or by stew meat. Brown in a little oil. Layer meat, potatoes, then carrots. Repeat 2 more times. Mix together 1 can celery soup, 1 can mushroom soup and 1/2 can tomatoe soup. Pour over . Sprinkle 1/2 package of dry onion soup mix over the top. Bake all day in a crock pot or at 225. My friend gave me this recipe and I cut it in half as the orignal called for 12 potatoes and I think that is a little much.
