Fresh Peach Pie

 1 c. sugar

 3 T. cornstarch

Mix together with:

1 c. mashed peaches

 3/4 c. water

Bring to a boil, cook about 1 minute, then add 1 T. lemon juice, 1 T. butter and a dash of salt

Set aside

4-5 Cups sliced peaches  in a baked pie shell and pour sauce over peaches and let set about 3 hours in the refrigerator.
